Dear Friends,
In September of 1994, I wrote this story,
intended as a Christmas Card to the friends I'd met while performing
at the New York City Subway stations in and around what is now called
"Ground Zero." Over time, folks have asked me to get it published.
I know nothing about publishing, so I decided instead to treat myself and send it as a Holiday Greeting to people in the world whose work I respect and admire.
I hope you enjoy this story as much as I've
enjoyed the many friendships that inspired it, and in that spirit, I
hope you'll pass it on...
